To visit AlUla Old Town, the nearest airport is Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz Domestic Airport (ULH) in AlUla. Direct flights to this airport are limited and are primarily available from within Saudi Arabia, such as from Riyadh or Jeddah. Upon landing, you can take a taxi, rent a car, or use any shuttle services provided by your accommodation to reach AlUla Old Town, which is about 35 kilometers from the airport.
If you are coming from within Saudi Arabia, AlUla can be reached by road. The city connects to major highways, and renting a car would allow you for a scenic drive through the desert landscape. From Medina, AlUla is approximately 320 kilometers, and from Tabuk, it is around 270 kilometers. The journey offers an excellent opportunity to see the beautiful and stark landscapes of the Saudi terrain.
The Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) operates train services that connect AlUla with both Riyadh and Jeddah. The AlUla railway station is on the line that serves this route. Upon arrival at the railway station, visitors can take taxis or pre-arranged travel options to reach AlUla Old Town.
